Late night shopping in Truro

The shops in Truro city centre stay open until 9pm each Wednesday in the run up to Christmas, ideal for getting those Cornish Christmas gifts. There are also mince pies and hot drinks on offer in aid of St Petroc's society.
Mousehole Christmas Illuminations
17th December
The official Christmas switch on in the village of Mousehole will be complemented with choir carol singing. The Christmas lights will stay illuminated until 2 January.
Tom Bawcock's Eve
23rd of December
Each year the village of Mousehole holds a feast and festival to celebrate the life of Tom Bawcock, a Mousehole resident who worked to rid famine from the town. Come and sample Star Gazey Pie, the traditional dish for Tom Bawcock's eve, made famous by Antonia Barber's children's book The Mousehole Cat.
