Cornwall comes into its own during the summer months, with warm days, long balmy evenings and plenty of excitement both on and off the water.

Fal River Festival
27 May - 5 June
The Fal River Festival runs over nine days and brings together the best of life by the water. Offering something for everyone, highlights include theatre and dance, rowing races, local walks and storytelling.
Royal Cornwall Show
9 - 11 June
This popular event hosts a real mixture of Cornish heritage, culture and country entertainment. Attractions this year are set to include a dancing digger display and Cossack trick horseriding.
Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
17 - 19 June
Celebrating Cornish maritime history, shanty groups from across the country will perform traditional nautical music and song at a selection of pubs and venues along the waterfront.
Cornwall Boat Show
17 -19 June
Centred around Events Square in Falmouth, the best of Cornwall's marine industry will be out in force for the Boat Show. The event will include a boat auction with Falmouth Marine School and a boat jumble.
Stithians Show
11 July
One of the country’s largest one day shows includes cattle, dogs, domestic, fur and feather, goats, horses, horticulture, sheep, steam and vintage, Taste of Cornwall, trade and craft stands, entertainment and fair.
Cornish Dragon Boat Challenge
Date TBC
Great fun and spectator entertainment as competing teams take to the water in traditional Chinese-style dragon boats to raise funds for the RNLI. There will also be plenty of action shoreside with a real carnival atmosphere.
Tregony Heavy Horse Show
7 August
A must for horse lovers, Tregony Heavy Horse Show welcomes these gentle giants along with a range of stalls, attractions and all day entertainment lasting into the evening.

Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week
6 - 13 August
One of the biggest events in the South West's calendar, the famous sailing and yachting regatta hosts a wonderful array of racing, as well as a week long party on the shore and in the town of Falmouth itself.
